I use Double Twist works great
This is a discussion on Copying Music to my Nexus One within the Nexus One forums, part of the Google Phones category; I use Double Twist works great...
Double twist is a pile o' crap for me.
It [quite cunningly I think] sc*ewed my itunes! Imagine that!
And, it's slow, and to me just seems to be a worse version of itunes.
My 2 cents
Android and Nexus One will not play or support WMA files, so if you are a Windows user and normally use WMP and you transfer those files to your N1, the device will not recognize or play the files.
Instead, you need to convert the WMA files to AAC files. You can use a free tool/app download online to load the conversion software onto your PC. Then, you will be able to convert the applicable files on your PC, where you can then transfer the newly converted AAC files to your N1. The Nexus' media player will now recognize and play your new music files.
This is a time-consuming and painful process, but it works.
In the future, I would use a different media player to burn CD's onto your PC. One that already uses AAC as the default file type, as this will eliminate these issues going forward with Android and Nexus One.
These solutions are way too hard. Isn't there a program Roxio etc. that will just transfer found music on computer to the N1? There has to be a simpler way...
