    What he's saying is that the N1 has all the logic necessary to use AT&T 3G, but would need a different power amplifier for that frequency band. He says there are chips available that would have provided access to all bands for very little extra cost, and ponders why HTC/Google chose not to go that route.

    Google should done what RIM is doing. Make all the phones capable of all frequencies and just limit them by software and have true unlocked version.
