This is a day one with the Nexus One...I have to say, no being able to save attachments...word, excel, powerpoint ect...is a VERY big hole. The guys over at the droid forums are having the same issue...I really need to be able to save documents..does anyone know of a way? Wow, such a great phone too!

Documents to go? When I get a document I open it in Documents To Go and I can then save it wherever I want. I don't know if their deal is still going on, but I got it for $10 a couple days ago (1/3 of the regular price!).

I have send myself a .jpg and when I open this email it shows the picture plus two options one is to preview and the other is to download. I don't know if it works the same with all picture formats. As far as document in .doc, .docx, .xls, and .xlsx I have tested this and it give one options to preview, it will open it with Word To Go and from there you can save it. Try to be a little more specific so I may help you better.

    App Recommendation

    tAttachApkInstaller
    Official Site
    Go To Market from N1

tAttachApkInstaller is software that enables the installation of the software attached to Gmail.

This software doesn't display the icon on the home.
When the preview button of the APK file is pushed on the Gmail, it starts. You may have to set it as default the first time.
