Lightbulb Where did you buy your Nexus One? (if you're not in USA)

If you don't live in the USA, where did you buy your Nexus One?

I first looked at eBay, and didn't like the high prices, 7 or 800 US$ or more! Then I found the Celtrek site, and they sold it for less than $600 plus shipping. It came with an international SIM card as well

So where did you get yours?

I got mine on taobao.com the Chinese ebay site. It is so popular there you can pay 30% more to get it over night, or wait a week.

They bring them into Shenzhen from Hong Kong.

I paid 450 euro. They stole the 4 gig SD card out of it, but also went through and set it up for 3g [well, edge at least].

It's funny, every company that ships outside the USA is so busy shipping them, they can't keep up with the orders. Yet every website mentions Google sold only 80,000 N1's. Doesn't make sense, really...

I wish I could have ordered from Google directly too, but I don't have an address in any of the countries they ship to

You would think these people selling them on Ebay are only trying to attract buyers from places that google doesn't ship to.
They must think people are nimrods buying it for those outlandish prices.
I rather buy from the source so you know what you are getting and don't get stiffed on th product or shipping costs.
Also google can ship the proper AC adapter for your country too.

And it arrived in about 2 days, which was nice!

Haven't had a customs invoice yet though, and it's been 4 weeks.
