Yeah, phones are slowly getting more extreme and awesome features......

But when does a phone NOT need all of this?

The NexusOne is feature PACKED, and the phone portion is minute. A projector, DIVX and those media functions are pure novelty. I feel like companies are focusing on adding all these novelties to mobile devices, but not even focusing on the main thing *MOST* people use their phones for... you know.... as a phone.

Its not like someone who is doing a *serious* presentation would whip out their phone in a business meeting or class room.

I know its all opinion.... but the only thing that interests me on that phone is the 8mp camera.

    front face camera!!
sounds so good and spec is amazing.
i won't say anything until i get my hands on though.

i'm bit worried about execution though. the battery life is a big concern even with 1800MaH and i don't know how smooth everything will run.

Samsung always make great devices but i always felt their overall put together always lacks user-friendliness.

Another nice thing is that as better phones come out, hopefully the price on the N1 will go down.

This Samsung looks sweet. 8 mega pixel camera is nice.

OTH, it looks thicker then an N1. I wonder what the price will be?

Who in their right mind would buy a Samsung after they abandoned Galaxy owners just a few months ago? Great hardware in a well-made 1.5 phone, completely hung out to dry with no software updates from Samsung.

the projector is actually a legitimate business function. just b/c you may not use it, does not mean it's a novelty. no need to bash it
