    "Go Home" option in Navigation?

One feature I really like in my Garmin is the Go Home option. It's really fast to tell the unit to navigate me home. What is the fastest way to do that with the N1?

Also, do any of you see railroad tracks on your maps? I liked that on my Garmin as well, but noticed Google does not show the tracks.

There's a transit lines layer on maps, that might help.

no tracks.if you store your info as a contact you can use that as a quick go home function
If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.

Try creating a home screen shortcut for "direction and navigation" with your home address, this shortcut opens up the navigation from the current position to your home.....Hope this Helps.

    Thanks

are you looking to walk the tracks?

    (not being rude)

why does google need to show you the tracks, if your on a train, the train knows where to go... you dont really need a gps ON the train, your not controlling it.

    Great idea...

I used the My Maps App from Google to create custom locations of often visited places and import that into Google Maps - it's the easiest way I could quickly Navigate home.

I use it on Garmin to avoid crossing tracks. When getting cought by trains a few times, it can help. Not that big of a deal. I'm just trying to see if I have any other features on my Garmin that the Google Maps app does not have. It's almost close enough that I can get rid of my Garmin.

That's what I wanted, thank you!
There are a lot of nice "hidden" features like this. At least it was hidden to me.
