Warranty still good if I buy used Nexus One?

Sorry if this has been covered, but I found someone who offered to sell me their 4 week old N1 for $375, so I'm going to jump on that. I just wanted to make sure that the warranty would still be good since I'm not the original buyer. Thanks for the help guys (and gals).

$375? He's ripping you off. He should be ashamed of himself! In fact, gimme his name and email address and I'll give him a piece of my mind!

BTW...I'm just kidding. Don't gimme his info.
I think it should still be under warranty.

Thanks for the input...$375 is reasonable considering its only 4 weeks old right?

I read the warranty statement from HTC and says:

This Limited Warranty is given only to the original purchaser of the Product ("Customer").

It's more than reasonable. Great deal for a 4 day old phone. As far as warranty, you may want to call HTC just to hear it from them. Better safe than sorry. Anyways, good luck with your purchase (if you buy it).

Oh well. Still a good price though.

If the guy is kind enough to use his name for your warranty issues that would be neat.

A copy of the Customers original invoice, receipt or bill of sale of the
purchase of the Product is required also.

To do a "return" you are required to access the original gmail account.

I wonder why he wouldn't just return it to Google if it's been less than 2 weeks?
