You can add "Zedge" app (Android Market) or use your own ringtones that you can add to your micro SD card

when you click the clock app and then "edit" you will be presented with the option to choose from "zedge", "Android" or your own ringtone/music inside your micro SD card

I have zedge. Wen I open clock app & set alarm time & then go to pick alarm I have to options, android system or zedge. I click zedge then sumn pops up saying android system with an OK & cancel button, but I can't select the ok button. :/

Not for me I click "ZEDGE" and it lists all the songs I've already downloaded from there as choices as well as when I click "MY MUSIC" option it lists all the songs on my micro SD card.

Don't know why that happens to you...should be very straight forward....maybe you can Uninstall and Install Zedge again and check your settings.

With Ringdroid you can cut songs on the phone to make custom alarms.

I use Math Alarm, and you can select songs from playlists. Im pretty sure its the same alarm as the stock alarm.

    +1

I love Ringdroid. When I first saw it I thought, "Uh, editing audio on a tiny touch screen, this is going to suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck." But it's actually amazingly intuitive and very well done. I wish they'd release the same features to edit video in the camera.

I believe that u have to create a file on ur SD card and name it "media" and within media create 3 folders named "Alarms" "Notifications" and "Ringtones"

***make sure that "media" is not under another file...it should be on the root of ur SD***

once u do that u can add any tones u want into the Alarms folder and use them for ur alarm...i hope this helps

Other phones will make fun of your virgin phone. Then your virgin phone will feel ugly and fat. It will have self esteem issues and start to hang around iPhones. Then it will end up in a dark drawer next to a dirty iPod and a whole lot of regrets. Is this want you want WERA!!
For the love of God and your Nexus One. Root it!!!:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

I like Gentle Alarm. You can fade in to the song of your choice.
    Very cool.
