Would you expect to use an extra battery as an on-the-fly replacement? I find the back cover a little difficult to remove (is it just mine?). It's good to have a replaceable battery, but I won't buy a replacement until I need it.

Thank you Syntax for letting us know

This is the main reason that I switched from a iPhone 3gs to a Nexus One since I am out of the house all day and I am an extreme power user (surfing the web + using emulators to play games) so I need the option to carry a tiny battery in my pocket and be able to walk around versus having to carry around a chord and be glued to a power socket or usb connection so someone doesnt steal my iPhone or have some nasty external battery pack that makes it look horrible...

I also ordered a couple of 3rd party batteries and charger on ebay for $20 but I was always really scared of putting them in my baby (N1) and $25 is totally fine by me for all day power without having to worry

With a data only plan your able to use the airplane mode a lot more freely since your not waiting for calls. Hell I use spend more time with data off using wifi then I do with data being on...

Not that I wont buy this battery though... awsome that its only $25

I've thought I was going to break something trying to get my batt cover off. I would really love an external charger for the spare battery though, then my travel kit would be complete.

of course you should actually "have" the nexus one if you are gonna buy an extra battery for it.
