    Unhappy Nexus i tunes problem

OK, Hi my name is Charles and I am new to this board. I'll make this quick. SO my original iphone broke and I picked up (thank Jesus) the Nexus One. I love it but I have no friggin idea how to sync it to my I tunes. I know I have to mount the SD card and all that...For instance I know how to transfer pictures and what not; But I have no clue when my nexus is connected to my Laptop how to initiate a syncing situation with my phone. Do I need to get rid of my old iphone's presence within my itunes or what? Please HELP!

it cant be done... there are some programs that supposedly do it,but ive never actually seen them work. your better off getting away from itunes anyways. Windows file system works much better, and your free to do what ever you want with your files.

It cant be done. Just mount your sd card and click and drag. That is going to be the easiest way. All that music sitting in iTunes has to be on your comp somewhere, so find it click and drag it to your sd card and you will be golden.

You can try "Doubletwist" that's what i use and is great because you can sync almost any device and you can transfer anything from your computer and from itunes to your device..

I have DoubleTwist installed, but it is really inconvenient and needs a lot of work in terms of usability. For example, playlists don't sync automatically between DoubleTwist and iTunes; you need to manually update it whenever you add new songs to your playlist.

I use iTunes a lot and I really wish it would sync better with the N1. Because of the lackluster syncing of music via USB, I only sync my music with my phone like once per every 2 weeks because of the hassle. Every time I have to sync, I think to myself, "Oh gosh, we have to do this again," whereas on my iPod, it was easy and quick.
