    Buggy Nexus One Dock?

Just got the Dock and set it up last night... I noticed when the phone is plugged into the dock, you can still navigate around the OS - this is cool but while playing around I noticed that there were a few times I would go to the home screen and from there, I was unable to click any icons I had placed in the lower row (just above the soft keys). In addition, if I tried to reboot the phone, I would get as far as the shutdown, airplane mode, etc. but was unable to choose the shutdown option. Whenever I tried selecting it via touch, the app menu would pop up. I had to use the track ball to shutdown the phone.

^ This only happens occasionally when I use the Dock, no other times.

    Anyone else notice this?

I've had no issues using the dock, but then I don't try to do things that aren't intended either.

In doc mode you can use the Alarm settings, Gallery, Music and access your Home screen. For functions other than those, I generally pick the thing up in my hand

Sounds like the standard touchscreen problem. If so, you're lucky not to have seen it before. You can try simply turning the screen off and on again.
