Point is you can use it to save apps to the SD card.

You can use Astro File manager to save app copies to your memory card. These are only BACKUPS though. They can't run from SD card. You can install from SD card and use normally though.

If you have root access you can use Titanium Backup which is a more thorough backup application which can save some apps that Astro can't.

If you are asking how to RUN/STORE apps on your SD card, you can use APP2SD which is for rooted Nexus but I hear its really not that good of a idea.

No (as NeonMonster stated) Astro can only copy *some* apps to SD card. They still must be installed to and ran from phone memory unless rooted.

Nope, if you know what you're doing, it can be done.

That's BS. Unless rooted, apps must run from phone system.

Even if this WAS possible. Its already has been shown that running apps from the SD card isn't a good idea.

You need a VERY fast microSD class, such as Class 6-10, and those cards are more than 2x the price of a standard class 2 card. Even with fast SD cards, they still won't open/run as well as being installed on the phone itself.
