Is new N1 worth trade in?

I just bought a N1 (ordered Sat 3-6, del. 3-9) unlocked from Google. Now a new version is available. I was not fond of AT&T after 5 yrs and went with T-Mobile. Is the new N1 an upgrade (I have 14 days to return) or just a different version? I'm staying with T-Mobile, but at $529 I would like the option and/or the latest. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thanks,

If you're talking about the ATT version they just started selling today...

Then no, it's not really 'new'. Same phone, except it supports the 3G bands that ATT uses.

I don't think the ATT version will work on your Tmobile bands either.

Basically, keep your current phone if you're staying with Tmobile.
