    DUST in the camera lens

    Hello all,

I know some have had issue with dust in the actual screen (still trying to see if i have any - is it one of those things if you have it, you would really know?) But how many of you have paid attention to the camera lens? do you think its worth calling HTC up about?

    thanks

Are you talking about dust under the ACTUAL camera lense? Or dust under the camera COVER which is on the battery cover?

Eh. If it significantly gets in the way of taking pictures, it might be a good idea to get a replacement. But if its unnoticeable, its probably not worth the time/effort of having it replaced.

Anyone have any idea how to remove the lens off the camera. Does it snap off? I think my phone takes poor quality pictures as a result of a drop. If I can realign the lens or replace it with a new one it may help. Any instructions would be great. Thanks!

Easiest way? Ship it to HTC. Dust (and any specs, markings, etc.) inside the phone are fully covered under the warranty. Actually had to send mine off two weeks ago for a bubble under my glass, and thanks to their overnight shipping it was almost not worth getting a $15 go-phone from walmart as a backup since it took a whole two and a half days.

Got mine back clean as new. Reminder, do a backup
