Solid build of the Nexus One? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That sentence is completely retarded. Nexus One had 3G issue and Touch Screen issues.
Nexus One hardware issues as follows.
    1) 3G connectivity issue
    2) Touch Screen unresponsiveness/sensing incorrect input
    3) unresponsive trackball
    4) WIFI connectivity issue
    5) Lock button response issue
    6) Proximity sensor sensitivity issue
    7) Ambient light sensor issue
8)bluetooth issues: fails to operate; inadequate volume; intermittent failure to accept commands
    9) speaker: horrible sound quality
    10) ringer: insufficient volume
    11) earpiece: insufficient volume
    12) headset connector: headphones cord activates pause or other functions
    13) manufacturer says phone cannot go in pocket
    14) missed call notification trackball does not flash

Why did you post this in all the nexus two threads?

Anyway with the screen thing just imagine Samsung making the screen and htc making the exterior (I guess they work together on the internal hardware) that would make a worthy nexus two for sure.

Comparison of the two. And HTC and Samsung already worked together on the Nexus one with Samsung supplying the AMOLED screen.

Oh I didn`t know that I thought htc supplied the amoled screen, well you learn something new every day.

The Nexus S is a joke and it'll be more of a joke if it becomes the next dev phone. I'll stick with my Nexus One until I switch to Verizon .

    Lets see.

    1.) No problems here
2.) rare issue, but so what
3.) My trackball is ALWAYS responsive. I never use it anyway. Trackballs are so 2004
4.) No WiFi connectivity at all...ever....never...ever..
5.) Lock button responds when I want it to respond, thus no issue.
6.) Once again, so what. refer to #2
7.) Turn your brightness up. With a custom ROM battery life isn't an issue.
8.) Bluetooth functions properly. Fails at times, but the same results happened with my BB curve
9.) My speaker and sound quality is amazing.
10.) I wake up at 6AM every morning and my Nexus One never fails to wake my a$$ up. Just sayin.
    ...............................intermission.......
11.) Have you tried turning it ..up? no problems here. I may also mention I was born medically deaf, had 15 ear surgeries + multiple tubes and I currently have 55% in one ear and 82% hearing in the other. No issue here.
12.) How is this an issue?
13.) WGAF what the manufacture says. It's in my pocket ALL the time, no issue here. No dust under the screen. Nothing.
14.) My missed call notifcation trackball flashes ALL the time. I also hate it because that means I have to at least think about calling back people that I don't want to talk to.

Your claims are unfounded. Just as those about Samsung. Either way, the Nexus 'S' or 'Two' not the next phone I'll be pursuing. If it's not made by HTC, no bueno. Lets face it, HTC has the baddest Android phones on the market. Make no bones about it, if I were a future producer of a cell phone, I would look to HTC and not Samsung. Samsung need to stick with making TV's......

Well looks like it's very official now. Eric was at the Web 2.0 summit holding up the Nexus 2 in the conversation.
