I dont' think N1 is better... i just think the Nexus S isn't worth the change from the N1... I would wait till Q2 or Q3 for a better spec phone
tried out RoDrIgUeZsTyLe MIUIMOD... and it's AWESOME

There are still benefits of the Nexus one.

Trackball w/ notifications. I'm gonna really miss that
Removable SD card. Even though I don't think its a big issue, I think its a big mistake to remove the SD.

But that's really it. Contrary to what some think the Nexus S is a better phone. Maybe not a superior phone but by far a better phone. Some

And the few who remember, I said that Samsung is very underrated. I have never liked a Samsung product until I owned a Galaxy Tab. Samsung has definitely come a long way. I put my foot in my mouth. I don't necessary want this phone but that Samsung Stealth has me very much intrigued. I think with this being vanilla will show a true potential in Samsung Humingbird processor.

But I hope people don't think the N1 is better.

I don`t think its better I think itís not an upgrade itís a sidestep.

Here is what makes me say that
    Nexus One
    -trackball
    -noise cancelling mic
-htc build quality (feels solid in hand)
    -SD card slot

    Nexus S
    -curved glass
    -super amoled screen
-NFC (which I Probably would not use much but still)
    -front facing camera

So you see its pretty right down the middle for me but since I alertly have a nexus one it saves money.

But the real reason everybody is complaining is because of the lack of thing they wanted in it and that would have made it an upgrade instead of a sidestep ex: hspa+ tegra 2

More like test run it. I'm more interested in a true upgrade phone, but I gotta try this out.

I don't think you can list HTC build quality as a pro for the N1.

how not? its solid, sleek, great quality. i would know cuz i have a tendancy of dropping my phone a lot, which is why i will never buy another phone with movable parts. my n1 has endured drops time after time with mere scrapes on the outside. and i drop it on asphalt, tile, concrete. it has been a beast

there are things that are better about the N1 but i dont think its a better phone. i just dont think the nexus S is.... enough. lol

enough to pay 529 cuz im with ATT and would have to go unsubsidized. oh and there isnt even a att version yet. so i may as well wait for the next nexus
