Probably a feature in gingerbread so you know how high the signal strength is, does it change to gray when the signal is low and green when it is high?

No, it does not matter. Weak and strong strength it happens randomly. With WiFi and 3G. Cant figure it out.

I have the same thing going on and I don't understand it.
I also keep going all over the place with cell service while in the same spot. From full bars yo none at all. What's going on?

I think mine is effecting me. I've seen network unavailable warnings. Nothingout of the ordinary with the wifi other than the weird grey thing
I should be getting an excellent signal here, and every time I make calls they are perfect.
Have you had issues with the screen not cutting off during phone calls?
I've tested my proximity sensor, so it would have to be software related.

No not with the proximity sensor. But now that you mentioned it I did receive a call while on a call and the screen did not turn on. Also, the beep to let me know I'm getting a call was very very low. I still love the phone and I think it's a valuable upgrade from the nexus 1.

I read today that the grey green thing has something to do with if the phone is in direct contact with Google or not. Grey = not in contact with Google Green = In contact with Google
