    Yes, it was slow using USB connection plugged in to a laptop or desktop.

    Yeah ever since my Nexus One charger bent (since I had it charging on top of my drawer) I have been stuck using the USB cable. It does suck charging it on my laptop. AS for the question I think anything would charge slower connected to a computer, since it's not using a power outlet.

    Mine charges within one hour from the wall. You will find all usb devices will charge very slowly from a computer, not just the N1
    Was the only Australian N1 I have seen but my mate now owns one.

    The reason that things always charge slower from a usb port than a wall outlet is simply because the wall outlet has the capacity to emit more power than the usb port so the device takes in more power at a time.
