Carphone Warehouse has slashed the price of the handset from 549 to only 430 for the unlocked version, a price that includes delivery.
We're not sure why Carphone Warehouse and Google would cut the price of the Nexus S by 119, only days after it was launched; the move might be motivated by concerns about poor sales.
The phone, made by Samsung, is now a better deal compared to the Samsung Galaxy S, the phone on which it is based, one which can be had for 380 including delivery, only 50 less although a "refurbished" will cost well under 300.
We mentioned price as being one of the reasons why the Nexus S would be a failure and it looks that Google choose to play it safe with an early price cut.
