    Fake multitouch?

Hi guys, I've hearing a thing or two about the N1's multitouch being an emulated multitouch. Not a real multotouch. This is evident when using the keyboard. But when using maps, browser etc it works well. Does it have TRUE multitouch?
Was the only Australian N1 I have seen but my mate now owns one.

I would hope that it's true mulittouch. My Galaxy Tab and I read that Galaxy S are all 5 point multi. Why would the Nexus S not be? That would suck.

Nexus S also detects five point multitouch. OP is posting about the Nexus One.

ahh hehe confusing. I think they added multi-touch with a software update shortly after its January release. Maybe it came with Froyo in May? I'm not certain about the timing, but as far as I can remember, it was not native to the device.

AFAIK the nexus one has a dual touch screen that is not the best it has trouble because it senses two touches but does not assign a variable to each one so it gets confused between the two especially when they get close together.

thats a problem to play emulator games.... ^.^sigh Maybe GB will come up with a fix, that is, IF we get the OTA...

but I don't think the nexus one was built for it.

ya i saw it, but the word week's' bugs me big time lol

And IF they fix the multitouch issue, i would be a very happy puppy, because as for the rest (wifi, touchscreen, etc... It's not too bad really)

I want to be able to play emulators nicely before going to mexico on vacation !!!
