    Question App for reading Datafiles from NFC Tags to Nexus S

    Hi!
    I am new in developing Android apps. I want to develop an Android APP which can read and write any Datafiles from Nexus S to RFID-Tags via NFC.

    1) Does anybody know, if there is a data transfer limit in Nexus S? -> so I couldnīt read any file bigger than a set filesize.

    2) Can I use any RFID-Tag for NFC with Nexus S?

    greets
    Alexander

    @SliceBurgSlim
    Thank you very much for the links.
    I wrote an Email to the NFC Chip Manufacturer from Nexus S. I hope that they can clearify
    a) when theyīve a full functionally sdk
    b) when we can write to tags (not only reading)
    c) if we can write files bigger to RFID Tags

    Solution:
    NFC is just a fileformat for RFID Tags (so every nfc Tag is a rfid Tag).
    It just means, that the data is saved in a speciel format, so the mobil device can read the data... (and also that a propriet encryption isnīt allowed).

    There is no datalimitation in Transport, so you can write as much data on a Tag like you want but: the data has to be splitted up into diffrent sectores. -> so you need a tool to read the data from the diffrent sectors and combine them.
    A helpfull freeware tool could be:
