Not sure I understand - what are you trying to do?

Creating a Bluetooth link between the Nexus /S and the Windows 7 Desktop.

Desktop Bluetooth can see the Nexus but cannot connect because the drivers are missing (or so Win7 says)

Drivers are for hardware connections, so your PC is asking for the drivers for the bluetooth hardware on you computer...

You don't need drivers to connect via bluetooth.

Windows 7 seems to be of a different opinion.

    Thank you for your assistance.

I still think that it's the bluetooth receiver on your PC that needs drivers, but that does look weird...

Bluetooth protocol is standardized, so you shouldn't need any special drivers to communicate between two devices. The connection between your PC and it's bluetooth hardware will need drivers though.

    Have you tried:
Connecting another bluetooth device to your PC?
Connecting another blurtooth device to your phone?

Another thing you may want to try would be to get Bluetooth file transfer on your phone it apparently helps people with the connection to their computers but I'm not sure I've never tried it so it might just be a better ui than what comes standard.

I had the exact same issue going on. Downloaded Bluetooth File Transfer and used that program to successfully transfer files from my phone to my laptop.
