Bluetooth Pairing Problems with Pioneer X9310bt

Hi all, I have a Nexus S with ice cream sandwich. I'm trying to pair with pioneer x9310bt. When I do the pairing, I get a pairing request on the phone, enter the correct password and the pairing appears to work (I see the device as paired on my phone. In less than a second, I get a second pairing request on the phone. After the second request, no matter whether I enter a password or cancel, the pioneer screen indicates that the the pairing failed. Does anyone have any idea how to proceed? I have successfully paired an iPhone with the pioneer, and have successfully paired my Nexus S with a Blue Ant device. I'm stumped! David

My problem is solved. The latest android (jelly bean) connects just fine with the pioneer.
