Have you played with adding adw themes or the new theming system yet? Oh and have you OC'd your nook and if so how high?

I've flashed it both ways with no issues. However, backups through cwm fail to generate an md5 sum on the attempts I've tried. Maybe this is tied to that install. If anyone has a suggestion or fix let me know. n14 was flashed directly through cwm and I didn't have any problems. I'm looking at playing with phiremod sometime in the near future, so I'll keep the sd card to flash when I do. Btw Dalingrin updated his kernels today. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=925451. Haven't noticed any significant difference but took notice not to set oc parameters on cm7 and use setcpu instead.

I've been using Dalingrin's 1.1ghz oc with zero issues. I haven't tried adw themes yet, but I have used tmobile theme engine with Honeybread v4 and like the results. All google apps are updated visually to honeycomb.

OK, I got my NC today, and it's rooted and running CM7.
Thought I'd start off on familiar ground...

I took a look at the Phiremod, and it look like my next step.

    Any advice?
What's the deal with the ext4 recovery?

    Nice!

Yea phiremod is the best option IMO for the time being.

I would recommended installing cwm 3.0.1.0 manually using this guide.

    [RECOVERY] Official CWM 3.0.1.0 Update - xda-developers

It has worked great for me. It occasionally freezes up after wiping the cache/Dalvik tho. 3 finger salute will get you out of that.

    Thanks Slim!
Still doing a lot of reading on this, and trying to get to grips with it. I've got cwm on there (installed to internal, because the SD option freaks me out! xD)...

Word. The cwm SD Recovery has saved me a few times. It really is a great idea!

ADB wireless is another app I would strongly recommend. Works every time.
