Mac or PC?

This is a discussion on Mac or PC? within the Off-Topic Forum forums, part of the Off-Topic Area category; PC only here. I never found macs as intuitive as everyone claims- probably because I've used PCs since right after the Apple IIgs days....

If you would have saved up all you have paid for lost time, adware, registry cleaners, anti-virus software, and paying for more CPU than you need to keep all those things running you probably could have. EASILY!

Mac all the way! I have a mbp on the road with me, and a 27" imac at home. I happily gave my lenovo laptop to my dad, and my pc to my mom who had a near new gateway that wouldn't behave. Spend a little more up front, and save a ton on the backside:-)

I prefer win7 and Ubuntu. I am looking to get a new laptop (maybe Lenovo?). Anyone have any experience with Lenovo laptops? (sorry for the temporary thread Jack)

I love my Mac. Have a Mac Mini in my bedroom and that little thing runs better than most of the PC's I have owned. I was always a windows guy until Vista came around, switched to Mac and haven't looked back. I have heard Windows 7 is greatly improved from Vista though. I have contemplated buying a W7 laptop literally just for the simple fact I don't have to jump through hoops to run RSDlite.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.
