    Critical Care nurse. Retired, not by choice. My body had ideas of its own. Now full time geek.

    Buffalo gets creamed with "lake effect snow" because of the geography of Lake Erie. Nothing we can do about it, I'm afraid.

    Yeah, Buffalo gets lots more snow than we do. It's said that they have only two seasons there - Winter and the 4th of July.
