Native Texan here, currently living/working in Chicagoland. Spent some time in the Great White North that is upstate NY (Rome, NY to be exact) in my younger days. I'm still waiting for Chicago to get some snow, but I'll admit it gets more than cold enough here.

Fortunately, retirement is only 5 years away, and then I'll head back south, where it's more warm/hot than cold!

-10 Fahrenheit (at least) with windchill here in the Mad City (Wisconsin)

    Love it~!

The winter makes you appreciate the summer all that much more.

Got to the high 60's, wore shorts yesterday, and even got a bit of a sunburn on my face...it was a fine day! Stuck indoors today doing housework and laundry (why did I get married, again?) LOL!

I'm about an hour and a half south of Buffalo. 10 miles east of me is Randolph, NY, they were on the national news before Christmas because of all the snow they were getting. I'll dig up some pictures of that snowfall if I can find my camera.
