    The Future of Nokia...

In light of recent events, and the memo that was sent out by Mr. Elop about Symbian being their "burning platform"... what do think lies in the future for Nokia? I know most of you have had at least one Nokia phone in the past. I can say that I'm feelin' for the company, even though Android isn't their platform. I think they're in for a rough time. Changing a company's perspective is a VERY hard thing to do, and an even harder task for a company the size of Nokia. I mean look at what happened to Ford. They have completely turned their act around. But look at how long it took them to do it.

I think MeeGo has the potential to be their saving grace, if done correctly. The only thing I'm not sure about is... if they have the vision to actually do it correctly. February 11th is going to be a big day...

    So, what say you?

That's a rumor. If they decide to use WP7 OS with their hardware.... that would mean HUGE change.

    Well, that was a shocker.

I wish Nokia all the luck in the world, but I WILL NOT be a future customer.
