    i remember the old school phone texting

    this post is useless,, but i write it because i just read a post about monthly services plans

    i remember back in the day (i dont know, 10+ years ago) when testing was FREE and you could only text to people with the same service carrier as you.

    i had this nokia phone

    and i had us cellular service and a girlfriend at the time had cingular,, and we could not text eachother

    just funny thinking how far texting came

    The first phone I owned myself was a Sanyo SPC-4500 on Sprint. Top of the line for that time - included a WAP browser, texting, and built in games. (Snake was AWESOME on this phone)

    Oh man snake was the best! Kids today have their 'brickbreaker' and other built in games, but nothing beat the intensity of snake

    i had a sprint phone that looked very similar to that, except it had a wheel for the menu system. i THINK i could text...

    that was my first phone, when i was 13. i loved it.

    This was my very first phone also, had it with verizon. That thing was a brick. The cool thing back then was that you could change the face plates.
