Pantech Flex Unlocked, Rooted But No Internet
Ok I have a rooted and unlocked Pan-tech Flex P8010. It originally was an AT&T locked Phone till I unlocked it (semi-successfully) and hooked it up to my current T-Mobile account. AT&T refused to give me an unlock code, so I bought one online. Worked smooth as silk for everything, well except the Internet. I cut down my T-Mobile sim card and made it into a Micro sim to fit the Flex and all seemed OK except my mobile network state shows disconnected even though all of the areas to activate data have been checked off. But that's only part of the issue. I believe if I upgrade my android version from 4.0.4 Ice Cream to 4.4 Kit Kat it just might work that glitch out. However I can't get an upgrade from AT&T, where my phone heads to in order to get it's updates. So I need a website where I can actually DOWNLOAD a copy of 4.4 and update it manually myself while being hooked up as a PC data mode, etc. I'm not even sure that would work. Any suggestions?

I don't completely understand what you did. Did you get an unlock code from AT&T which didn't work properly? If not, did you go back to them and insist they give you a working unlock code? If you have a phone which is still legally locked to AT&T, what do you want us to do? We are not about to assist you in breaking the law.

Welcome to the forum rmcphiex1! It's against forum rules & guidelines to discuss unlocking ones device unless it's going through the proper channels. ie: AT&T. which was where the device originated.
Typically the only reason AT&T would deny your request would be because the device is either stolen, its still under contract, or money is still owed on said "original" contract. thus resulting in the use of a third party unlock code, such as the one you're currently using.
You have only a couple options here. First you need to find out if your device is capable of receiving 4.4, since said file MUST be compatible with your particular make/model device.
Being that your device is still on ICS, it's highly unlikely you will find such a file.
You other option would be to contact the person who sold you the device and verify with them it's not still under contract, or money isn't still owed on the account it was previously on. Once that's cleared up, you can get AT&T to unlock it.
Unfortunately, we can't provide anymore information than that at this point.
