About LinkBacksMy phone keeps saying speaker.disabled no matter what I do! I have tried plugging and unpluging several different earbuds and nothing helps. I see nothing wrong in the headphone port. Any ideas what I can do?

My phone keeps saying speaker.disabled no matter what I do! I have tried plugging and unpluging several different earbuds and nothing helps. I see nothing wrong in the headphone port. Any ideas what I can do?

Is the phone overheating when this happens?? Just a thought.
There are some goofy things you can try like plugging in the headphones half way to see if they make half a connection. This should also turn the speaker off.
You could also try plugging the phone in to a wall outlet, plug the headphones in, and then unplug the battery and see if that works. For some reason, unplugging the battery does mysterious things.
Those are just shots in the dark.
