    Connection Problem or Invalid MMI Code

    I have a Samsung Galaxy Y phone which has been working perfectly until today.

    I usually use the dial code *110# to find out my credit balance, but today when I did that several times I got this message:

    USSD code running. Connection problem or invalid MMI code.

    The phone still works perfectly except for this issue. My broadband connection via Wi-Fi is being received strongly by the phone.

    I've tried adding a comma after the code but that doesn't work.

    Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this please? Thank you.

    I get this message as well, but just when I am not doing anything. I have no idea what it means and some of the answers I've found while researching online might as well be written in Chinese... can't understand the lingo.

    It doesn't seem to have affected the functionality of the phone... unless it has something to do with me not being able to get a data connection in Saudi Arabia with my Bahraini SIM (they told me I had to go to the store in Bahrain and tell them to switch on roaming, which I haven't done yet)... or if it has something to do with my phone not being able to get a reliable GPS location... or if it has something to do with me not being able to receive calls on my GO SIM international roaming SIM card (UK number... worked when I first got it a few weeks ago but now doesn't seem to want to put calls through)

    Sounds like the problem may be on the other end.
