    Rooting Do's and Don'ts

so i bricked my phone, not sure how. It may have had something to do with the rom. anyway i had to get a new phone and have lost access to the root apps i purchased. plus titanium backup doesn't work without a rooted phone, so i couldn't use it to re instal any apps. does anyone have a link or maybe a pdf file that explains how not to brick your rooted phone? or ways to use a rooted phone that keep one from bricking?

What is the model number of your phone, and who is your carrier? Those are important issues for our Rescue Squad guys, in order to give you a coherent answer.

Im not rescue squad or whatsoever. You using Samsung admire. I read some where:

Just to check if it is still not dead.
    - Take out the battery and place back in.
    - On your phone
... see if something comes up.

    or

    Hard reset.
(down volume key + back key + power key) all together till samsung logo comes up

But if your phone wont turn on at all not anything you can really do..sorry most likely dead.

    Hope RS will come soon.

    Seem your phone is softbircked.
    - You can try to flash back stock firmware and see how it go.
    - Then root (rooted stock) and monitor again.
    - If everything fine, that mean something not rite with the rom.

Maybe you can feedback to the developer or even give them logcat?
