    Motorola Admiral Won't Finish Booting, Loops After FC

    • What phone? Motorola Admiral XT603
    • What ROM? Software Version: 5.5.1Q-117_PAX-79 / Flex Version: XSAXT603SPR01NA017.0R / Bootloader Version: 0016
    • Rooted or Stock? Rooted
    • Overclocked? No
    • What EXACTLY did you do to get to the state you are in? I wish I remembered exactly, but basically I was 'cleaning up' by removing unwanted apps with CleanMaster and I obviously deleted something important ...

    It starts to boot and then complains that "The application SprintOmaDm (processcom.motorola.android.sprintomadm) has stopped unexpectedly". It then attempts to connect to the network and the same forceclose message appears ... again and again. I can switch USB connection modes (charge only / USB mass storage / Windows Media Sync / Motorola Phone Portal), and select and connect to my wifi network but I can't get to the Android launcher screen.

    ADB won't connect (I suspect USB debugging is turned Off but I can't access Settings to turn it on). I can go into fastboot mode and I can see the device from my PC using fastboot devices so I'm hoping there is some way I can restore a factory image and get my phone working once more!

    From the research I've done, deleting /system/app/SprintOMADMConnMOPlugin.apk and .odex might resolve the problem, but I can't use ADB to do the deleting. I've tried creating an update.zip that includes the following updater-script, but it doesn't seem to help (I'm a total noob )

    Code:
    ui_print("");
    ui_print("started. . . .");
    run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
    delete("/system/app/SprintOMADMConnMOPlugin.apk");
    delete("/system/app/SprintOMADMConnMOPlugin.odex");
    ui_print("Removed Sprint stuff ...");
    show_progress(1.0,0);
    unmount("/system");
    set_progress(1.00);
    ui_print("Done !");
    Is there some other way to do the deleting? I don't use the device as a phone, just as a tablet via wifi. It worked fine before I screwed it up ! Help!
