    Nexus One in Brick-Like State

    Hi All,
    Here is the rundown:
    HTC nexus one
    Unlocked
Out of use for ~ 1 year
    Charged + it worked fine
Got new SIM card + used for 1 night.
Work well and held a charge for ~8 hours.
When I woke up it was dead (I had not plugged it in)
Now there is no sign of life.
Charged over night, with wall outlet and now with computer USB. No lights/LEDs, no reaction to any combination of volume/power/roller.
I have no warranty. In fact, I just got the card for a trip I am on currently so have limited ability buy/ship things.
Happy to try any ideas and give any more info needed.
I appreciate your time looking at this. Thanks.

Polyphaeon, I'll be honest with you on this - that is a very old phone and I honestly don't know a single person who uses it as their daily driver. A great phone in it's day, but I'm not sure if we have any technicians who know how the thing works. Your best bet is to be patient and wait to see who responds to this thread.

Welcome to the forum! As Ultra said, this is a really old device. Could simply need a new battery if it's been sitting for a year not being used. I would start there and then we can try and troubleshoot after that.
    Good luck!

Welcome to the site. I would definitely try a new battery. Hope that is all that is necessary to get it going again.
