Unhappy Where Did My Voice Recorder Files Go After I Cut and Pasted and Hit Undo?

I wanted to clear up some space on my Samsung Galaxy S5, so I connected it to my Windows 8 laptop with a USB cord. I opened up my folder from my phone and I "cut" 10-15 files I created with the "Audio Recorder" app on my phone, and I "pasted" them into a folder on my computer. I did not like where I put them, so I hit control-z to "undo". They disappeared. I cannot find them on my phone or my computer anywhere. I even hit control-y to "redo" right away, but the files were gone and the "paste" option was grayed out. Please help me find my files!!! They were really important audio recordings of classes I needed. Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

You'll need to run a file recovery program on your phone, from Windows, too get them back. Do not, under any circumstances, add any files to your phone until you do. If you do, you risk overwriting the blocks with the data from the audio recordings.

Are there any file recovery programs that you recommend? I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon.

Any that are designed to work on flash memory should suffice. I'll do a little digging and get back to you.

Easeus is a recognized name and I've used their products in the past, just not this program. Give it a whirl and see if you have any luck, then report back so I know if I need to look for another program for you.

Free memory card recovery software after format - Free card recovery software.
