The Rescue Squad is comprised of members of this forum as well as the sister sites associated with it. It was started with the intent to have a team of members manning the "help desk" and bringing order to the vast amounts of information and guides available in this community.

If you're tried your darndest to get the info you seek, but still can't figure out what's going on, feel free to post a thread and ask for assistance! Please do not use this thread to ask for assistance, as that can get overwhelming for you, us, and anyone attempting to find help on the same topic you're asking about. As well, when creating a new thread in this section, please try to use Tags so that others have an easier time searching the forum for issues we've already solved!

When creating a thread to ask for help, please include the following information:

• What phone?
• What ROM?
• Rooted or Stock?
• Overclocked?
• What EXACTLY did you do to get to the state you are in? (If you followed a guide from this or another forum, please provide a link to the guide so that you can reference specific steps when explaining the problem!)

In order to keep things manageable, we ask that, if you choose to post a thread in the Rescue Squad section, you do not cross-post in other sections. This will eliminate confusion on everyone's part and provide the most concise information on specific issues in one location

It's our pleasure! We've all found ourselves stuck in different situations and know how much better we feel when someone is there to lend a hand and patiently walk us through a solution or a range of possibilities.

That's all we're trying to do, to lend that helping hand and to organize useful information to make it easier for members to help themselves.

I've had an android phone since the g1, but didn't get into the forum community until I got the d1. I've made many great friends here and have learned a lot. I enjoy passing along anything I can to help others. I think the same experience goes for all of our Rescue Squad members.
