droid x bootstrap problem
Ok rescue squad.I'm having troubles with getting bootstrap on my phone..first of all I'm having truoble downloading certain,apps and bootstrap is one of them I vmcant download it from the market but that's a whole other issue I need help with..but I can download bootstrap from koush free site download..that being said once it downloads and the download is complete in my status bar I click on it and it gives me the option to (complete action using rom manager when I click on rom manager it takes me to rom pre installation and gives me the option to back up existing rom wipe data and cache wipe dalvic cache and wipe dalvoc cache already has a check in the box..if I select ok it takes me to reboot and install and tells me to press ok to reboot into clockwork mod recovery and continue the installation...now my problem is no where on my phone is the bootstrap recovery app installed so what's up what do I need to do..I'm rooted have clockwork mod recovery and have liberty toolbox installed.I have rom manager and titanium backup please help..what do I do...

Settings> Applications> Allow Unknown Sources
Now install Astro File Manager from the Market, open it, navigate to the download (not downloads) folder on the SD card, and locate the bootstrapper .apk file. Press it and it should give you the option to install via the app manager. Let us know if you're still having problems!

Yup you should have an option to use packet installer, use that to install the apk. I haven't seen the free apk on his site in awhile so ensure its droidx bootstrapper apk before installing.
