    motorola citrus very slow

    i know the phone is [slow] but im stuck with it for another 3 months then i get a used droid X......but untill then how can i speed this phone up.....its so slow trying to text and listen to music.....i already use a appkiller.....please help me its driving me crazy....also how do i get apps transfered to the sd card....there isnt the transfer to sd card in the manage app like the droid.....please help

    First off, the task manager/killer is probably slowing your phone down as much or more than any apps you are killing with it.

    Secondly, the only way to speed your phone up is to ROM it or overclock it and both require rooting the device. This voids your warranty but allows you to modify the phone for overclocking, delete the bloatware, run ad blockers -- basically anything you can do on a PC with administrative rights. As you have already asked about rooting in another thread I'm going to close this one and suggest anyone wishing to help to please go to the other thread and post there.

    What is this rooting.....does it speed up the phone or is it for something else
