    In a bad jamb

Hey guys I really messed up and deleted something (it was right above the "phone" icon and looked the same but a different description. I can't remember what it said). Now my phone has no service. The phone does everything, even texting, internet, media, etc., but I can't make or receive phone calls. It says no service. The guy at t-mobile even changed the sim card; it made no difference. He said he has never seen this situation before. If you guys can't help me I'm looking at paying $40 deductible for a new phone. Please tell me you have the cure. Thank-you

Tell me what app (and exactly where you went to in the app & into what folder) maybe I can copy & email to you what you deleted...? Then you can goto your email on your phone, download it and use Astro or root explorer to copy and paste the file where you need it.

[But] Did you make a recovery in the gingerbreak app (after rooting the phone) like I told you to?? Upi can try that first. Or you can try unrooting the phone with gingerbreak? Then reset default factory settings.

OR a last resort option is to find the stock ROM download in the forum & wipe it all & start over. But that takes a little while.

Oh and when I try to make a call it says, "the process 'android.process.acore' has unexpectedly stopped working. Please try again".

Only other "phone" icon that I see (which is right above my actual phone.apk) is " [VOICEMAIL] Dialer 2.2.1 "

That's exactly what it said! I thought since I had visual voicemail I didn't need it. But I went ahead and un-rooted it and un-installed gingerbreak, root check, titanium b/u and busybox. Will they not know it was rooted now?

they shouldn't, but check that ROOT CHECKER app to be 100% sure.

Before you send off the phone, do a FACTORY/MASTER RESET on the phone. I have it in my phone settings somewhere (because I remember seeing it)...if you don't, call customer service and ask them how to do one on your phone or if you are independent like Myself, search online how to do it

Okay. I remember seeing it somewhere too. I'll go look for it. And hopefully I'll talk to you soon. Thank-you for trying to help me. I really appreciate it.
