    Applications not caching data

This is the second time this has happened and what worked before isn't working now.

My LG Phoenix (LG P505) has decided that the applications won't cache data so it can be easily cleared; they go right into application data instead, sitting there and clogging up the phone's memory. Last time this happened, clearing all application data (and then having to reenter accounts and bookmarks for everything) seemed to have done the trick. No such luck this time round.

Evsn using App Cache Cleaner does nothing since the data isn't in cache. Has anyone else with a Phoenix or an Optimus run into this? Does anyone have tips or advice?

Hmm, I don't have a clear solution for this other than a factory reset, hopefully someone who knows will chime in here. Best of luck!

I have gone to look for myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

No, task killer is not a good thing. Only time it is needed would be to remove an app that through normal means is not possible. Meaning you cannot just uninstall.
