Suddenly Unable to Hear Calls, Music Etc, Have to Reboot Daily
For about a week or two now I have been having a problem with my audio. If I receive or make a call, the caller cant hear me and I cant hear them. If I try to use the speaker to create a text or do a search I get an error, and if I try to listen to mp3s I get an error that the file type is not supported. I have to then reboot my phone and all will work ok for awhile until it happens again. This is getting very frustrating. There maybe more happening I just havent come across it yet.
It happened after I installed 3 apps but I dont know if it is a coincidence or not though. I thought maybe it would start because I opened one of them which I was playing frequently so I stopped playing them but still have this problem. (Words w/Friends, Hanging w/Friends, and Scramble Free - all by Zynga)
Also I have noticed at the same time this started that my Home button is less illuminated than the other buttons. Thanks for any help.

You might have got yourself a virus. My friend had a very similar problem when his Lookout spotted a malware. But Lookout wasn't able to remove it completely, so he restored factory settings. And it wiped out everything along with the malware. And the day was saved, thanks to the power puff reset.

I had this issue and noticed a lot of others with the issue. If anyone else has the issue, try an app named SoundAbout from the market.
