Simple Install Problem From a Newby

I am having problems installing ADK on a Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit machine.

The JDK and JRE both installed without issue. The path variable was set to include C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_04\bin. An error message comes up stating "Java SE Development Kit (JDK) not found" when installing the Android SDK. Additionally stated, "Error: Failed to find Java version for 'C:\Windows\system32\java.exe': [2] The system cannot find the file specified."

I verified that java.exe was located in the location stated and also observed that it was version 7.0.40.20.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Marcus

    Fixed it!

Simple problem requires, sometimes, a simple answer. The proper setting of JAVA_HOME makes all the difference in the world.
