Accidentally System Updated Rooted Phone - Maybe . . .

For the past few days I have had problems posting comments in Facebook (through my mobile browser, not any of the FBOOK apps) because my keyboard (SwiftKey) won't pop up. I've Googled the problem and not found much, and I'm starting to wonder if I accidentally hit YES on the most recent HTC System Update notification.

I rooted my phone about six months ago and it has worked fine, but I'm not techy enough to figure out what I've done. I have an HTC EVO 4G. I've tried booting in recovery mode and don't seem to be able to do it, but the last time I accidentally updated my phone came up in recover mode all by itself.

I have Titanium Backup but I've never had to use it. I'm trying not to screw this up any more than I might have already done. I don't know whether I should "un-root" and reroot or what.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

    Terri

    Welcome to the forum
Not very sure of HTC...but Android work similiar

Do you have root apps? Try to launch Titanium, if it cant use and asking for root permission. That mean you lost your root.

    Try root it again.
