Dark Screen on Evo 3D

Hi,

Im having a issue that just started last night. I went to plug my evo 3d to charge last night and I was kinda tired and I plugged it into my nexus 7 cord that was plugged into the wall and within a few secs the screen shut off and wouldnt turn back on I pushed power and lights came on but no screen. I took the battery out multiple times and left it out for over 20 mins and still nothing then it was completely dead and wouldnt charge correctly on my phone cord. Now brought it to work and let it charge for over 2 hrs green light showing fully charged so tried to turn on again same thing but phone is actually still working and ringing but cant see anything. Dont know if the screen just went out and if it is a easy fix or do I have to get a new phone. Please if anyone can help me out that would be great. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! Definitely sounds hardware related. Do you happen to have insurance on your device, as the screen probably needs to be replaced.
Hopefully someone can offer another suggestion. Good luck!
