Android Lurker
Network Error
I have a Trio Model Stealth Pro Metal and I get network error when downloading themes from both GetJar Rewards and GO Store. It was working fine until I loaded one of two different apps: Lookout or Norton Mobile Utilities. Have reset to Factory Defaults and the problem remains. I was going to root it next but being pretty new to Android, I want to check for other help first. Naturally I bought the cheapest tablet in order to find out if I want to invest more in something better. Not much out there to help me out doing a search from any search provider. Hoping someone here might have a simple solution. It's kind of embarrassing because I'm an IT geek for a living and have 30+ years in this community (I started on TTY's in the 70's). But I'm Android stupid, and have to ask for help.

Wow, not even a "I dunno". So much for a Rescue Sqaud. Remind me not to call you if I'm dying. I'll just root the darned thing and turn it into a brick.

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Were you able to download other items without the network error? I see where you did a factory reset and that did not solve the issue - did you allow your apps to auto restore from the market?
It could be that there is another rogue app that is causing the underlying issue and not the Lookout or Norton apps...
As UD indicates above, apologies for the minimal amount of help on this thread - however, I for one am not familiar with your device and my support would be very limited beyond general troubleshooting.
The beatings will continue until moral improves...my new motto for work!
