    Notification

    I would like to know the notification system on Nexus one phone is there led indicator or something else e.g missed call,voicemail,new text message and one more thing how strong is vibrate? Thanks in advance.

    yes the trackball lights up when getting a message, mail, etc..
    there's also a nice app which let you chose a color for each notification
    eg mail = red, message = green

    vibration is ok

    It's Trackball Alert
    Pro Version will be out in 2 weeks and you can set ANY color for ANY app!
    Currently only SMS/Gmail/Twidroid and MissedCall are supported

    Doesn't the above app mentioned require the phone to be rooted?

    as far as I know, no.
    You could just try it! I think the dev said it works without root but I'm not sure

    Yes it's free, the Pro version isnt out yet. Me and some others are beta testing it right now
