I followed instructions and it said you will get to an Android with an exclamation point. But when I go into recovery, I just get a regular screen and no exclamation point
What other error did you get? Are you 100% sure the file was named update.zip and not "update.zip.zip"? look here http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/n...html#post60435
I had it named update.zip and then powered down and then held down+power to get to Hboot. I then went to Recovery and hit power. It went to the blue recovery screen with options at top Flash.zip, Nandroid backup, etc. No Triangle and and exclamation point

If you don't want to wait any longer for the OTA update the actual file has been released 1 hour ago. Just got mine!!!

EDIT: When I said "Just got mine" I meant OTA. I'm in Vancouver BC, Canada

I just got my Froyo update today!! Now running on Android 2.2. Have not really played around with it yet, but a couple of my applications like Swype and Tag Home stopped working. Guess have to update them.. BTW I'm from Singapore.

you have to go to adobe flash to download the Flash 10.1 beta 3 in order to browse the website using flash programs, for example the movie trailers

i just manually updated, which was pretty painless and quick

    i used this build
    http://android.clients.google.com/pa...5.dc39ca1f.zip

downloaded it over 3G, renamed to update.zip in astro, rebooted and installed

my iphone carrying friend almost cried when he heard how long it took me :D
