In addition to what Dorian gave you, check out SMS Backup + from the market. It's free, and he just added support to pull call logs back in.

SWEET! I guess just about anything you could imagine is already out there on the market.

And, if anyone is wondering about the softkey backlights, there's an app for that. "Keep The Lights On" will make the button lights stay on as long as the screen is on. They aren't very bright to start with, so I don't mind them being on (almost) all the time.

Dorian, I'm about to flash v3. In your screenshots I see the old Music player icon. Had that been updated in v3?

Nice. Flashing back to stock now. I'll post as soon as I'm done.

    Install: Smooth as silk.
    Rom: Sleek as silk.
Overall: Silky, Buttery, Froyo Goodness. I absolutely love it Dorian. I'm going to use it throughout the week, and I'll update my daily use stats here to see if everything works out. So far though, it's perfect. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Great! Battery life was my main concern with Rev3 so, hopefully it works for you!

Do you HAVE to flash back to stock with ODIN? Because the link in the OP isn't working. I currently have rooted JH7 on my phone now. Other than RyanZa's OCLF, I haven't done anything else to it.

Hmm.. Let me look into that link.

EDIT: Yes, it is highly recommended to flash back to stock before installing. ODIN will re-format and re-partition all the system storage (excluding the SD storage), and it cleans out a lot of stuff that would cause errors and FC's in custom ROM's.
