So... a pair of 150K ohm resistors later, i am up and running with v5. Looks like a great build. GB Keyboard is broke, and cant get voice dialing to work with my jawbone. I'll keep hacking at it.

    Thanks for your help!

Very interesting guys.. I guess I uploaded a beta of V5 instead of the right one. I have the keyboard fixed in the correct version. I'm working on a fix now...

nanoak... very happy you got your Captivate back working again!

Last time I looked at the issue, connecting a modem via Bluetooth on a 3G network really wasn't a good idea, because Bluetooth's data rate is about like USB 1.1, too slow for 3G. I found this out years ago working with a Motorola V3XX. Solution: use a cable via USB 2.0 or use a Wi-fi connection and forget about Bluetooth for this purpose.

The USB connection does work and one can access the internet (Tethered). I also tested the access point application and that one works very well also.

Coming... I just got home, and my computer had to "install updates". That and I had an SSD failure on my desktop yesterday, and that drive had pretty much all my stuff on it. So I'm having to rework some things

Try loading up any live wallpaper onto your phone. Once that is done go into manage applications and find the live wallpaper you setup and force stop it. Your wallpaper should then revert back to the original one it came with by default.

From recovery, flash that zip like you would flash a ROM. All it fixes is the keyboard, and no information is lost.
